Engages, Educates, and Empowers Student Filmmakers
Film industry professionals mentor students to step out of their comfort zone and tell their stories. We unleash untapped creativity and encourage the next generation of working filmmakers to transform the culture of the industry.
The Finalists - High School Student Films
This year was filled with truly amazing submissions from students inside and outside of New Jersey. The quality of ALL the films and the talent of each and every filmmaker made it especially difficult to choose our finalists for the Young Filmmakers screening on Saturday, March 11th at the Maplewood Theater in Maplewood, NJ, just a short train ride from NYC. We welcome everyone to come see these outstanding films and to watch as we present Best Narrative Short, Best Documentary Short and Best Animated Short awards immediately following the screening, along with Honorable Mentions. Be sure to buy your tickets online early as we expect the theater to sell out, as it did last year -- Click here to buy your tickets now!
